Crypticon Makeup Competition - 2nd place!

This was my entry into the Crypticon 2012 makeup competition.
I was one of 5 contentants with 2 hours, and a VERY limited kit to create our interpretation of the theme "Beauty and the Beast".

I took the Beauty and the Beast part a little Disney-literally, but once you add some blood, it's pretty awesome.

This piece won me 2nd place, and a $10,000 scholarship to a makeup school in Vancouver.

Products used:
Ben Nye Cream colours
Liquid Latex
Cotton gauze pads (roses, leaves, vines, 3-D FX)
Tissue paper (scavanged from the supply table - some vines)
Ben Nye Fresh Scab (my personal fave)
Ben Nye stage blood (minty fresh)

I was also the only contestant that used blood...WTF
